From combinatorial logic to arithmetics

In this chapter, we will introduce the notion of combinatorial logic by presenting the basics of Boolean logic, the basic logic functions as well as some more complex but often used logical functions. We will see how to represent numbers and how to perform arithmetic operations on those numbers. Finally, we will introduce the concept of propagation time in logic operations.
