Part 1 - From Logic Gates to Processors

In the first part of this lecture, we build a simple processor from scratch. We start with the very basic building blocks: Logic gates. We show how to combine simple combinatorial gates in order to construct arithmetic operators. Going one step further, we introduce sequential logic, which is needed in order to memorize data and to realize complex sequential behavior.
